About the Astrologer
I have been practising astrology for almost 20 years. After doing a 2 year course, I practiced astrology mainly as a hobby. A hobby that I loved! For work I trained in marketing and pr and worked successfully in that field right up until realising that it all seemed so hollow, the work did not hold any personal meaning for me and I realised that I needed to work in a field that had a very real and meaningful impact on people and their lives.
That was when I panicked, I hadn’t trained in anything else and couldn’t think of a people-oriented career that attracted me, never mind the fact that I also needed to continue to earn a living. I started researching my options, taking many psychometric tests and talking to lots of people, but nothing leapt out at me.
Finally I remembered my astrology teacher, Cynthia Thorburn, mentioning a branch of astrology called vocational or career astrology. I started doing a lot of research into my own career options, discovered that career astrology was ‘it’ for me and I’ve never looked back.
I love my work, it suits me well and I can’t imagine doing anything else. I hope that career astrology can do the same for you!
